Naomi Dueck Forman:
Lyric soprano Naomi Dueck Forman is a graduate voice student at Boston University in Massachusetts, and holds a B. Mus from the University of Manitoba.
     She has sung with many organizations, including the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Groundswell, Chamber Opera West, and the Winnipeg Singers.
     Ms. Forman was a recent finalist at NATS (Boston) Songfest 2000, and was also awarded the French Art Song prize for her interpretation of a work by Poulenc.
     This past March she sang Polly Peachum in THE BEGGARS OPERA by Benjamin Britten for New England's oldest opera company, Lowell House Opera at Harvard University.
     May and June of 2000 were spent at the Banff Centre for the Arts where she was invited to participate in the 20th Century Opera and Song program.
     Upcoming engagements include the title role in Menotti's Amelia goes to the Bal with Nuova Opera in Edmonton.
     Ms.Forman studies with Susan Ormont in New York.
